2026 Update: I came searching for some ingredients...tahini and poppy seeds, and left with feta, tinned grape leaves, ghee, and of course fresh samosas. 2025: We came for the moong beans and left with the samosas. They did not disappoint. They were as good as claimed in reviews. We tore into the bag on the sidewalk outside the store. We continued eating them in the drive home. We were satisfied and sad when they were all gone.

A Philadelphia gem! I've been coming here since I was a small child. I get my family's all time favorite olive oil here and vats of ghee. In my twenties I bought hookah tobacco and coals. As a kid (starting in like the eighties) my family ate a ton of Sri Lankan food and we got the ingredients here. Definitely worth a trip.

Awesome fresh samosas (not so much the tofu ones, definitely go for the traditional!) with coriander chutney that they make in house. They also sometimes have injera and baklava at reasonable prices. Great selection of frozen and canned food, mainly Indian diaspora. Of course, great selection of all dried beans and rice and spices. They have been here forever and are worth a stop, though the parking is tight. Remember to bring a bag.

Great place to find things.You won't find in a regular supermarket lots of vegetarian and vegan items. You also find lots of legumes in bulk packaging here, it's a little bit tough to nail down.Some of the pricing as they have the prices for the most part on paper taped to the walls. You will find some very unique items here.

I love this place! It's small, but well organized. They have a great spice selection, lots of frozen meals, and fun treats. Also, if you're just looking for a snack, they have the best samosas in town.
